Up To 100% Management Training Subsidy Available
In January 2010, Protostar became one of only a handful of private organisations to be able to offer free management training or a management training subsidy, under three government schemes.
- For organisations who want to take an innovative approach to developing their leadership teams, Protostar offer a range of award winning 360 degree feedback systems, followed up by a programme of face to face leadership coaching. If your organisation has not done something like this before, then 100% Business Link funding or a substantial management training subsidy, might be possible.
For companies in the private sector, most leadership skills training and leadership coaching can be part funded up to 45% by Business Link.
How do you get this funding?
A Protostar consultant will help you to analyse your leadership development issues and propose a solution. You then need to meet with your Business Link account manager and a Protostar consultant.
Assuming that Business Link agree that you meet the relevant criteria for a management training subsidy, then you will need to complete a short online application, which again Protostar will help you with.
Normally funding decisions are made within 14 days. If you are turned down for free management training or a management training subsidy, then Protostar will offer you a 20% discount for having raised your hopes. Free management training?
To get free management training or a large management training subsidy you need to show that your organisation is struggling or jobs are under threat. If this is not the case, then 80% is the likely maximum management training subsidy you will receive. As much of this funding is being made available due to the recession, you are advised to apply ASAP. The development work need not start straight away but you should get your funding agreed while funds are still able to be allocated.
